Travis practices in the areas of consumer and business bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, litigation and business and corporate law. Prior to forming the law firm of Cupps & Garrison with his partner Stewart Cupps, Travis practiced with an international law firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio as well as a large Columbus, Ohio based law firm. Before practicing law, Travis also had over eight years of progressive sales, marketing and management experience with Frito-Lay, Inc., the Dr Pepper/Seven Up Company and a family-owned transportation and aluminum manufacturing business located in Southern Ohio.
Travis has represented individuals and businesses (including chapter 7, 11 and 13 debtors and secured and unsecured creditors) in all phases of bankruptcy cases, including at the appellate level. Travis has also handled a wide variety of general litigation matters before Ohio’s state trial and appellate courts and has advised clients of all sizes in general business and corporate governance matters.
